As a boy, indeed as an adult, I rarely read books. Comics were my thing. I guess that’s why I have always been attracted to short stories which don’t take days to read. But back in the day, when I was commissioned to design a book cover, I had to read the entire book. That was until the marketing men appeared on the scene and took precedence over the author.
