This is just a simplified set based on one of the huge rooms in the disused NATO base deep beneath the ground near Naples, visited by myself and my son Roman two Summers ago. The base controlled US aircraft in Italy, Greece and Turkey. It provides both the inspiration and the sets for the Adolfo & Benito movie.
